We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work for an exciting IT company in Monmouth. Duties include...


First line to answer incoming calls into the business

Accurate and efficient logging of support calls on the system

Cover reception duties, like greeting and looking after visitors

Providing help to support team as required with updating calls, chasing up responses

Administration required in planning, preparing and sending out customer updates (issues)

General shopping for tea/coffee (within working hours)

Responsible for maintaining petty cash

Update computer records

Responsible for ordering of company stationery

Booking staff travel and accommodation for visits where necessary 

Overall responsible for general office management and liaising with court landlords as required

Opening company post and making sure it is distributed to the correct people

Making sure company IT system backups have run and changing backup media daily

Sales administration, preparing of standard quotations to customers and ordering of products with suppliers to fulfil customer orders

Preparing and sending out software information packs to prospective customers

Packaging and sending out occasional customer deliveries      

Arranging in-house and external events

Other administration and support duties as required



Good and confident telephone manner with customers. Understanding of fundamentals of customer service

Proven admin or assistant experience

Accuracy and attention to detail

The ability to use your own initiative

Ability to work as part of support team

Tidy and organised with ability to keep track of multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly

Good time management  

Knowledge of windows and Microsoft Office – general interest in IT
