Or client is a leading UK supplier of Aggregates and Waste solutions servicing the Construction and related Industries.   As the team expands, we are recruiting for a number of roles within the business and the role of Sales Support is integral to this growth.  Based in Northamptonshire your role will be to collate information and liaise with customers and the team, enabling the company to achieve customer satisfaction and support the business growth. 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Dealing with telephone and email queries and customer quotation requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Produce quotations in line with company pricing levels of the moment.
  • Following up on quotations raised and target projects to determine and record key information.
  • Assisting Transport Planner to ensure prompt and timely order fulfilment, to include liaising with Sub-Contract hauliers and also suppliers.
  • Building mutually beneficial relationships with company stakeholders, Customers, Hauliers and Suppliers.
  • Carry out daily ‘Source Checks’ in order to track delivery status, and report any shortfalls to wider team in first instance, and then customer.
  • Administration tasks as the business requires, such as;
    • Cross referencing and logging invoices received.
    • Locating and sending ‘Proof of Delivery’ as requested by Customers’ accounts teams.

  • Ability to work under pressure, from customers and business needs at the time

  • Driven and methodical
