Job Overview:

We require an enthusiastic and driven Sales Support Administrator to join our clients lively team!

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire

Key Role: You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth running of the office on an administration level by fully supporting the Sales, Marketing and Estimating departments on a daily basis.

General Administration roles are absolutely vital in many companies, providing valuable help throughout an organisation. We are looking for an organised, self-motivated individual looking for a career in a varied role.

Summary of the main responsibilities and activities:

Sales duties:

  • Ensuring frontline support for the office handling incoming enquiries via the telephone and email and forwarding on appropriately.

  • Accurately obtaining details from enquiries to complete file checks and upload onto our database.

  • Opening and distributing all post and sending of all outgoing post and brochures promptly.

  • Compiling the daily figures for the sales team.

  • Also carry out other tasks that may from time to time be necessary for the smooth running of the business and process work to ensure that deadlines are met.

Marketing duties:

  • Planning new business incentives for the sales team every month and log all incoming new business

  • Following leads for new business and tracking all appointments made by the specification manager

  • Sending out data sheets and CAD drawings when requested

Estimating duties:

  • Responsible for supporting the estimating department through accurate and prompt registration of all new enquiries and the internal generated enquiries.

  • Responsible for saving of all project information

  • Monitor our customer email inboxes and provide prompt responses or distribute to the necessary departments.

  • Accurately obtain details from enquiries to complete quotations.

  • Sending out all completed quotations

  • Carrying out price updates and changes to quotations

Pace of work is fast to ensure customer deadlines are met. It will be necessary to carry out other tasks, in addition to the above, to ensure the smooth running of the business.
