Roofing Project Coordinator

 

Roofing project coordinators are responsible for supporting the PM at all stages of roofing installations or repairs to residential and commercial properties.

Our client is a busy and rapidly growing industrial/commercial roofing company. With further plans for expansion we are looking for a new person to join our team. The successful candidate shall have the primary responsibility of supporting the Project Manager, as well as working closely with the office team and of general administration & ad-hoc tasks. As ad-hoc support is required, which may not be just administration related, a can do, and flexible attitude is a must.

Responsibilities 

1.            Work with management to determine materials and manpower required for each roofing project.

2.            Order materials required for each project and devise delivery schedules to ensure structural timber, shingles, insulation material, guttering, fascias, etc. are available when needed.

3.            Deliver materials to the jobsite in a timely and organised fashion - coordinating with all teams and clients as necessary. 

4.            Deliver, Operate, and maintain responsibility for all transportation and roofing equipment including but not limited to trailers for waste, disposal of materials, Storage etc. 

5.            Provide customer service for all residential and commercial projects as necessary, communicate with relevant parties regarding change orders and other potential adjustments as well as signage, cleanliness, and project coordination. 

7.            Arrange travel and accommodation for the crews and provide relevant information in a timely manner

8.            Collating and filing of documentation such as Risk Assessments and Method Statements

9.            Deal with general emails & queries

10.         General project administration and document control

11.         Assisting with the preparation of timely and accurate reports

12.         Creation of Excel based reports

13.         Supporting the creation of quotes and jobs

  • Confidently communicate escalation issues
  • Good practical skills and approach to problem solving

  • Able to work with deadlines in mind
