JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE PROFILE

 

JOB TITLE: Marketing Analyst

 

 

PURPOSE STATEMENT

 

This role will support the Senior Analyst in delivering analysis and providing information to influence management and operational decision-making. The individual will build analytical reporting which provides measurement of Marketing business KPIs

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (group in related activities and document key actions and outcomes required)

  • Oversee and manage campaigns within the Global Marketing Data Warehouse using SDL/Alterion Campaign Manager. This includes accuracy of campaign information entered as well as working with campaigns teams to ensure all information is entered in a timely fashion.
  • Develop and manage Core Products Marketing dashboard.
  • Implement, monitor and track all campaign meta data in Global Marketing Data Warehouse
  • Support & carry out campaign production when required, producing associated campaign analysis 
  • Develop regular circulation reporting that illustrates shifts and movement in circulation YOY
  • Support delivery of Marketing effectiveness KPIs
  • Meta data entry as and when required.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • 3-5 years of data analytics experience.
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel, Power BI, VB programming language & SQL
  • Business Objects, Cognos or similar expertise (e.g. Qlik View or Salesforce.com Business Intelligence platforms).

 

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates proactive work style.
  • Ability to successfully communicate both verbally and in writing at all levels.
  • Demonstrate sound business judgment and decision-making skills
  • Some travel may be required
  • Strong attention to detail – critical requirement

Desirable:

  • Experience of SAS
  • Project management and process experience a plus.
  • Experience of campaign and online meta data set up.
  • Use of Customer Audience selection software such as Alterion, Smartfocus, SAS, SPSS or other database marketing tools
  • Travel/Hospitality experience a plus

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred is Degree level in Marketing, or business / technical related field.
