Hours:          40 Hours per week

Location:       Northamptonshire

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our client’s business, this is a small, close-knit team of friendly and hard-working professionals. Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for handling from start to finish all mapping of manufacturing, deliveries and scheduling for the mobilisation of installation crews

As Logistics Coordinator, some of your duties will include:

  • Receiving bookings and organising required mobilisation of crews whilst taking into consideration geographical challenges and obstacles
  • Accurate preparation and completion of documentation
  • Liaising directly with customers / production for a timely completion of projects
  • Provide accurate, honest and consistent reports to customers (tracking, issues, schedules etc.)
  • Tracking orders through the manufacturing process and delivery / installation lead times 
  • Raising sales invoices upon completion of projects

 

 

Ideally you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with a good understanding of transport/logistics operations essential

  • Strong geographical understanding of the UK and giving adequate times for installation with common sense

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written

  • Excellent attention to detail is a necessity

  • Customer orientated with the ability to build strong, working relationships

  • Good level of numeracy

  • Computer literacy, particularly with MS office

  • Analytical and logical approach to problem solving
