We are seeking an ESTIMATOR to join our construction industry client in Kettering.

Salary £22-25k, Dolly Parton-esque Monday-Friday 9-5. Important to note too as they do like to instil the work/life balance.

• “Producing quotations for a wide variety of project types and sizes working from architectural drawings, specifications and/or BOQ’s (Bill of Quantities).
• The role entails understanding and accurately interpreting customer and project requirements, whilst meeting all internal service levels with regards to accuracy and return dates”

Taken from the job description and pretty much sums up the essence of the role. There will be lots of internal communication with some external to architects and contractors. Strong numerical ability, attention to detail and a methodical approach are vital. You’ll need to work well under pressure, at pace whilst still keeping the accuracy so ideally you’ll have experience in a similar office role, maybe using product codes, OR you’ll show me that you have the skills to adapt.
