Audio Visual & Video Conferencing Support / Installation Engineer

Are you an experienced Audio Visual / Video-conference engineer/ installer looking for a fresh, dynamic opportunity? 

We are partnered with a forward-thinking global group with the Head Office based in Kettering, Northamptonshire. As part of this expanding portfolio of companies we now have an exciting opening for an experienced Audio Visual and Video Conferencing Support/Installation Engineer to join the team.

We are looking for applicants who can bring both enthusiasm and experience to the team and ultimately provide complete customer satisfaction of the highest standard.

The main aspect of this position is to identify and establish issues, provide seamless service and support, and to complete preventative maintenance appointments with our clients within the blue-chip marketplace.

Predominantly office based with the requirement to attend assignments covering UK-wide and occasional European visit; you will be provided with a company car and all the tools/support and development training to fulfil your potential and grow with this dynamic role.

You will have an excellent head on your shoulders, identifying fault diagnostics and be able to identify problems that occur on integrated AV / VC systems. This could be a simple connector, cable or plug or be an issue far more complex. Experience with a “hands on” attitude will be needed allowing you to work in an efficient manner whilst keeping the end user client happy and informed. The requirement to provide a professional service and to complete supportive documentation is essential to maintain our “second to none” service reputation.

Experience with audio and video along with control systems is important along with skills covering DSP / Bi-Amp / Clearone.  A basic in programming, experience of either Crestron or AMX would be relevant but not essential as the opportunity to train and develop within the role is expected to grow as the position evolves.
