MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

The role encompasses a support function to the Project Team, Administration Team and Delivery Team adhering to Company processes, procedures and standards to ensure that work tasks are completed in a timely, efficient and professional manner.

 

GENERIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Answering incoming calls, taking and relaying messages.
  2. Responding to email queries and problems applicable to own competency level and escalating where necessary to Technical Support Manager or relevant departmental manager.
  3. Data input into company information systems utilising InfraNet.
  4. General administration duties including but not limited to scanning, photocopying and filing.
  5. Report any violation of Company Processes and Procedures to the Technical Support Manager and/or the Compliance & Sustainability Officer.
  6. Health & Safety - be vigilant and report any potential risks or hazards to the Technical Support Manager and/or the Compliance & Sustainability Officer to promote a safe and healthy working environment.
  7. Knowledge Development – ensure you are aware of and understand the latest Company processes, procedures and standards to aid and uphold the good reputation of professionalism.
  8. Escalate issues to line manager or relevant department manager at the earliest opportunity to ensure a speedy resolution.

 

BESPOKE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Create CAD drawings, including but not limited to combine existing, proposed route and duct plans.
  2. Create as-laid construction drawings.
  3. Create CRMC connection plans upon receipt and completion of returned site packs.
  4. Accurately record results of trial hole excavations and produce accurate and informative drawings when required.
  5. Accurately record results of utility sweeps and produce accurate and informative drawings.
  6. Update project review sheet where required.
  7. Update drawing tracker in real time.
  8. Attend handover meetings when required.
  9. Attend and input into weekly technical drawing meetings.
  10. Meet set deadlines for the completion of drawings.
  11. Prioritisation of work load.
  12. Update personal and technical drawing calendars in real time.
